Agnes Brough

Agnes Brough, passed away peacefully at Tore's Home on May 7th after a long life. She was four months shy of 100 years old.

She was born in Amherstburg, Ontario but grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She met her husband, Louis Brough there and moved with him to Lapeer, Michigan. There she lovingly raised four children. Her later years were spent in Brevard where she was welcomed into the community by her daughter and son-in-law, Tess and Jim Duncan, and their many wonderful friends. She also thoroughly enjoyed the companionship of her "buddies" at The Lunch Plus Program at Silvermont Opportunity Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis. They had been married for 58 years.

Survivors include her four children: Larry Brough of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Frank Brough and wife Cindy of Orlando, Florida; Mary Hagen and husband Michael of Saunderstown, Rhode Island and Tess Duncan and husband Jim of Brevard; seven grandchildren, Jennifer and Jessica, Katie, Chris, and Meghan, Alex and Matthew; and 5 great-grandchildren, Ethan and Caitlin, Michaela, Michael and Will.

Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 11:00AM on Friday, May 10th.
Memorials may be made to Silvermont Senior Opportunity Center Lunch Plus Program, 364 E. Main St., Brevard.
