Agnes Moffitt Scott



Penrose - Agnes Moffitt Scott, 83, died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.

A native of Rabun County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Ida Anderson Moffitt and was the wife of the late Loyed William Scott. She is also preceded in death by a brother, George Moffitt, a sister, Clyde Henson, and an "adopted" sister, Annie Jean Ivester. She was a member of Etowah United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her sister, Evelyn M. Watson and husband Lawrence of Pisgah Forest; a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at St. Timothy United Methodist Church, Brevard, with the Rev. Randolph Harry officiating. Burial will be in Little River Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home.
