Alfred Owen

Alfred Gaine Owen, 67, of Brevard, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Born in Pickens, South Carolina, He was the son of the late Floyd and Lavada Owen of Balsam Grove.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Cole Robert Owen.

The owner of Morgan Mill Trout Farm, Alfred loved his work and being outdoors. He enjoyed everything hunting and fishing, but his greatest joy and greatest love was his family. He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife, Norina; his sisters Deborah Orr (Jimmy) and Sheila McCall (Jim), and brothers Dale Owen (Dakota) and Kerry Owen (Donna), and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is planned for 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Buster McCall and Rev. Breck Landreth officiating.
