Alice Lyons Boyette

Alice Lyons Boyette, 93, of Balsam Grove, passed away on September 19, 2023. A native of Hillsborough County, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Martha Jordan Lyons. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Gene Lyons, and her sister, Lillie Leydon.

During her life she had enjoyed many hours making ceramics and watching old cowboy movies. Her greatest joy, however was her family, and how she loved to talk about her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her loving survivors include her husband of 74 years, James Boyette; their children, April Johnson (Bill) and James Perry Boyette II; grandchildren: Jennifer Peddicord (Eric), Jason Heim (Courtney), Jamie Boyette (Kim), Johnnie Boyette (Shelly), James Boyette, Michael Boyette and Brittany Boyette; great-grandchildren: Sydney Peddicord, McKenna Peddicord, Canon Heim, Kenley Heim, Emersyn Heim, Kylie Boyette, Justin Boyette, Kourtney Boyette, Kaitlyn Boyette and Jake Boyette; her sister, Esther Douglas; her great friends, Anna Bontrager and Georgianna Kratzert, Daughter-in-law, Jackie Boyette, sister-in-law Mary Boyette and a number of nieces and nephews.

 Funeral Services for Alice Boyette will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Beggs Funeral Home in Monticello, Florida. Interment will follow at Oakfield Cemetery in Monticello. The family will receive from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service.
