Alton B. Sutton, Jr. "Bim", native of Buncombe County, 77, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Care Partners Hospice. He was born August 2, 2936 in Asheville, NC to the late Alton B. Sutton, Sr., and the late Hazel Thompson Sutton.
He is survived by two daughters, Lynette Sutton Craig and her husband Rodney of Weaverville, and Tammy Sutton Henson and her husband Doug of Candler; two sons, Al Sutton and his wife Kelly of Weaverville and Keith Sutton and his fiancé Martha of Mars Hill; one sister, Ann Sutton McClellan; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Bim's life will be held Thursday, January 30th at 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1498 Sand Hill Rd., Candler. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
