Brevard - Amelia Amos Houck went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 25, 2010 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals.
A native of Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Steadman and Florence Price Amos.
Mrs. Houck was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brevard.
Surviving are her husband; Harold Houck; children, Amelia Ann Houck of Hendersonville, Randall James Houck and wife Dorothy of St. Augustine FL, Michael Harold Houck and wife Wanda of Dubois, WY; brother, Arthur Amos of Rutherfordton, NC; sister, Jean Fortanbary of Gaffney, SC; grandchildren, Tyler Houck, Katie Houck Benson, Rebecca Houck.
