Annie Mae Barton
Saluda - Annie Mae Barton, 89, died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Autumn Care of Saluda surrounded by her loving family.

A native of Transylvania County, she was one of thirteen children of the late George and Dalsia Kuykendall Pridmore. She was by her husband, Hicks Barton who passed away in 1995.

Mrs. Barton was a member of Mount Underwood Baptist Church in Penrose.

She is survived by her daughter; Betty Jane Barton of Mill Spring, NC, her son Harold Barton and wife Ima Jean of East Flat Rock, NC; brother, Daniel Pridmore and wife Elaine of Sun Coast, FL; sisters; Leona Garren of Hendersonville and Marie Pridmore of Sun Coast, FL; granddaughters; Annette Merrill and husband Jason of Little River and Karen Roche and husband Ryan of Gastonia, NC; five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 11am in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Hardman officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 7 - 9pm at the funeral home.
