Barbara Raines

Barbara Warren Raines, 71, of Horse Shoe, NC, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015. Born in Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Melvin and Frances Alliene Thomas Warren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Burgess Raines
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Annette Smith and husband Ken of Horse Shoe and Krystal Dawn Raines of Horse Shoe; grandson Kenneth Smith of Horse Shoe; brothers Stoney Warren of Asheville, Melvin Warren and wife Donna of Alexander, and Lloyd Warren and wife Andrea of Santiago, Chile`; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration Service for Barbara Warren Raines will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 3, 1015 at Turkey Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Kittrell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Hendersonville Rescue Mission, 635 Maple Street, Hendersonville, NC 28793 or to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800
