Betty Clark

Betty Ann Clark, 79, of Brevard was surrounded by her family as she passed into the kingdom of Heaven on July 28, 2015. She was born in Swainsboro, Georgia to the late to the late Albert and Callie Tapley Salter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Clark, and her brothers Edwin Salter and Jerry Salter.
A member of Carr's Hill Baptist Church, she had a great love for her family and was instrumental in raising a number of children besides her own.

She is survived by her children, Debbie Ashe and husband Steve of Brevard, Donald Clark of Candler, Jimmy Clark of Brevard, and Kenneth E. Clark and wife Maria of Brevard; grandchildren Misty Enderlin and husband Richard of Brevard, Callie Ashe of Ukiah, CA. and Ashley Daves of Penrose; great-grandchildren Colton Ashe, Caden Enderlin, Walker Daves, Noah Enderlin, and Brianna Enderlin; brothers James Salter of Pisgah Forest and Jackie Salter and wife Juanita of Pisgah Forest; sisters Penny Smith of Pisgah Forest and Violet Sorenson and husband Bill of Charlotte; sister-in-law Madge Salter of Brevard; special friends Clarissa Edgerton, Ed Worley and Keith Worley and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Betty Clark will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 31, 2015 at Carr's Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Hardesty and Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Gillespie-Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home.
