Betty Ramer

Betty Cable Ramer, 77, of Pisgah Forest, Passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Paul & Beryl Cable of Robinsville. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Bill Ramer and her sister Delia.

She was a wonderful, outgoing mother and friend who will be greatly missed. Betty was an active long-time member of Blantyre Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, watching sports, reading and tended to be the instrumental leader for several groups of local ladies in various adventurous activities, which are best left out of the public record J.

She leaves behind her brother Con of Lenoir NC, two sons, Jeff with his wife Jennifer of Pisgah Forest and Mark with his fiancé Carol Roessner of Lakewood Ranch Florida, Granddaughters Tine Hopson, Amber Ramer and Ashley Ramer and many loving friends & relatives.

Due to the current social distancing situation, the family will hold a small graveside service at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Brevard.  A memorial service will be held later in the year when a larger gathering can be accommodated; the specific date & time will be announced at Blantyre Baptist Church.
