Calvin Galloway

Calvin "Pernell" Galloway, 56, of Rosman passed away, Friday, August 18, 2017. He was a son of the late Nelvin "Neb" Galloway and Frances Margaret Anders Galloway. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Rodney Nelvin Galloway and Seldon Lee Galloway.

He attended church at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center where he was a resident for many years in the Mulberry Cottage. He enjoyed working puzzles, watching movies, shopping and working with wood. His favorite place to visit was Tweetsie Railroad.

He is survived by two brothers, Spencer and wife Terri Galloway of Easley, SC and Phillip Galloway and girlfriend Audrey Cottrell of Brevard, two sisters, (Guardian) Florine Morgan of Rosman, NC and Geraldine Galloway and husband Jose Cruz of Piedmont, SC, five nieces and four nephews.

Funeral services for Pernell Galloway will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations with Rev. Bradley Chappell and Vinson Owen officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:50 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Galloway Memorial Gardens-Middlefork Cemetery.
