She was born on November 23, 1952, in Pavo, Georgia, to the late John Wesley Dunn, Jr. and Leila Thomas Dunn Brant. Carolyn dedicated her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse, retiring from the VA Bay Pines in St. Petersburg, Florida, showing compassion and kindness to those in need. In her free time, Carolyn found joy in simple pleasures such as sewing, tending to her garden, and creating beautiful scrapbooks filled with memories of her travels to the beach. She was passionate about shopping and always found ways to spoil her loved ones with thoughtful gifts. However, her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her family, whom she cherished deeply.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Justin Wilkerson, brothers Johnny Dunn and Tommy Dunn, and sisters Sarah Beasley and Susan Alexander.
