Carolyn Twomley

Carolyn Mead Twomley, 87, of Hendersonville, passed away on January 5, 2018. A native of Marshall, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Melville Frederick and Julia Georgiana Kennicott Mead. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother Bob Mead and her sisters Opal Popescu and Joan Rifenbock.

Her survivors include her husband of 67 years, Robert "Bob" Twomley; her daughters Julie Ann Thorn and husband Gary Thorn of Chattanooga, TN, and Peggy Jo Frank and husband Dr. Kenneth Frank of Granite Bay, CA; grandchildren Brian Thorn, Melissa McColl, Darrin Thorn, Carly Kerkhoff, Jaclyn Frank and Kaitlin Santos; and great-grandchildren Isabella Thorn, Faith McColl, Kristofer Thorn, Ethan McColl, Carolyn Kerkhoff and Savannah Kerkhoff; and her sister Elsie May of Downer's Grove, IL.

The Funeral Service for Carolyn Mead Twomley will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations in Brevard. Interment will be in Wayland Township, Michigan.
