Catherine Mary Gaffney

Brevard - Catherine Mary Gaffney, 87, died Monday, May 23, 2011 at Clare Bridge of Asheville.

She was a daughter of the late Harry Gustuv and Mary Sanders Wenderoth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel P. Gaffney who died in 2006.

Mrs. Gaffney is survived by her two sons; Brian C. Gaffney and wife Debbi of Brevard and Mark Gaffney and wife Claudine of New York.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:00am with Father Carl Del Guidance officiating. Burial will follow in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the reception hall.
