Conrad Freeman Baynard

Conrad Freeman Baynard, 67, of Brevard, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday May 14th after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Gudger and Ella Morgan Baynard, four brothers, Harley, Frank, Max, and Gerald Baynard, and two sisters, Olean Cairnes and Maxine Ward.
He is survived by Martha Jones Baynard, his wife of 47 years; three daughters and sons-in-law, Leasia and Carl Brown, Teresa and Tony Raines, and Connie and Mike Rogers, all of Brevard; 10 grandchildren, Noteca, Ariel, and Mitchell Brown, Heather Raines Brown and husband John and TJ Raines, Micah, Christian, Isaac, Noah and Isaiah Rogers; one great-grand daughter Charlotte Conley; one brother, Kenneth Baynard and Shirley Rhodes of Pisgah Forest; sister Wanda Justice of Hendersonville. He had a number of nieces and nephews.
He was a faithful member of Rosman Baptist Tabernacle.
The funeral service will be held at 3 pm Sunday at Rosman Baptist Tabernacle with the Revs. Allen Aiken, Mike Rogers, and Don Riddle officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm Saturday at Moore Funeral Home.
