Curtis Ward

Curtis Ward, 75, of Brevard, NC, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at his residence.  A native of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Richard and Annie Belle Cox Ward.  In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother, JR Ward and his former wife, Frances Lynn Buckner Ward.

Curtis was a United States Army Veteran and retired from Budweiser after a career of over 30 years. A NASCAR fan, he enjoyed rebuilding and restoring cars and trucks as well as John Deere Tractors as well as woodworking in his shop. He was an avid fan of Jeopardy!

He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Janice Ward, son, Matt Ward (Andrea)  of Candler, NC and  two grandchildren, Emma Ball and Elijah Robertson.

A Memorial Service for Curtis Ward will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 15, 2019 in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations.
