David Zemmie Baker, 81, of Asheville, NC, died at his residence on Saturday, November 3, 2012.



He is a son of the late Zemmie Louis and Sallie Mae Mackey Baker.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Geraldine Baker; two sisters; Lorrena Baker and Sarah Jackson, two brothers; Lester Baker, Sr. and Charles Baker.



He is a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Brevard, N.C.



He is survived by his son; Randy Weaver of the home and five (5) other children, one sister: Barbara Garrett of Brevard, N.C., several nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends.



Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service at the church.
