David Lash

David Edward Lash, 61, of Brevard, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020. He was born in Akron, Ohio to the late Edward Joseph and Gloria Ann Masalski Lash.

David had a passion for fly fishing, woodworking and music. If David wasn’t fly fishing on a beautiful trout stream, he could be found in his workshop crafting his next creative idea or drawing out the next home renovation while listening to classic rock or WNCW. David was known for his quick wit, infectious smile and ability to solve any problem. David loved his family and always kept them close by organizing family vacations. David was a fabulous cook and got great joy from cooking for his family and friends.

His loving survivors include his wife Pam Lash; their son Kevin Lash of Santa Fe, NM; his sisters Barbara Davidson (Scott) of Pittsburgh, PA, Erica Jones (Steve) of Pittsburgh, PA, Susan Kiley (John) of Vero Beach, FL and Kara Monson (Joel) of Salt Lake City, UT; and his brother Cliff Lash (Chris) of Atlanta, GA.

Due to the pandemic, the funeral mass for David will be delayed until late spring or early summer when it is safer for family and friends to gather to celebrate David’s life.
