David Sitton

David R. Sitton, 65, of Brevard, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020. A native of Brevard, he was the son of the late Clyde Raymond and Mary F. Sitton. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brothers Joseph P. Sitton, Richard H. Sitton and James Seaburn Sitton; as well as his sisters Elizabeth Whitmire, Annie Doris Powell, Emma S. Taylor, Lois Fontenot and Melrose Clark.

David had lived and worked in Brevard his entire life. He loved his Lord, and he really enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel music and good preaching on the radio. He loved to talk to his friends and family on the telephone everyday and he never forgot a phone number.

David is survived by his brother, Donald Lee Sitton and his wife Vickey, of Hendersonville; special friend Susie Hampton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for David Sitton will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020 in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations with Rev. Randy Barton and Rev. Ron Nelson officiating.Internment will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, one hour prior to the service.
