Donald Rex Worley
Pisgah Forest - Donald Rex Worley, 79, left this life to live in everlasting glory with our Lord on Thursday, January 13, 2011. Donald lived his life helping others. He was loved by all who met him. Donald enjoyed working in service to his friends and family. Donald was a loving tease that brought smiles and laughter to all.

Donald was preceded in death by his father Andrew Worley and his mother Nellie Worley as well as his first wife, Selma Fisher Worley.

Donald is survived by his wife, Irma Chandler Worley of Pisgah Forest; daughters, Teresa Worley Nix and husband Gene of Marshall, NC, Sonya Rose of Mills River and Katrina Bond of Griffin, GA; and a son, Mark Connor of Mills River. Also surviving is his brother, Rev. Leo Worley of Pisgah Forest, sisters; Hazel Roberts of Pisgah Forest, Jean McGrath of Pisgah Forest, Virginia Plemmons of Trenton, MI, Carol Baker of Brevard, and Brother in law, Dan Baker; grandchildren, Terry Worley, II, Scott Nix, Tara Gardner, Tiffany Nix, Natalie Rose, Dennis Rose, and Benjamin Odom; great grandchildren, Brittany Gardner, Jacob Sawyer, Josie Sawyer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as an abundance of special friends.

Family and friends will celebrate Donald's life through visitation at Calvary Baptist Mission Church in Pisgah Forest on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 5pm until 8pm. His going home service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Mission Church at 11am with the Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Marshall, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Mission Church, 100 Cemetery Rd., Pisgah Forest, NC 28768 to benefit upcoming revival services.
