Dorah Smith

Dorah Elizabeth Williams Smith, 92, of Brevard, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018. A native of Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Chevalier Dewitt and Elizabeth Perry Williams. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Harry Delmar Smith and her brother, Chevalier Dewitt "Buddy" Williams, Jr.

An avid watercolorist and musician, she was also a wonderful gardener and baker. She possessed a great wit and quirky sense of humor and was a wonderful wordsmith.

Her loving survivors include her children Cathie Smith Keenan (Clarke) of Westwood, MA, Garrett Evan Smith (Janette) of Osage Beach, MO, and Dana Norman Smith (Claire) of Apex, NC; grandchildren: Wade Smith (Ashley), Kalen Smith (Celinda), Tyler Smith, Amanda Zeiger (Kyle) and Jesse Smith; great-grandchildren Luca Smith, Lily Smith, Cora Smith, Scarlet Smith, Evan Zeiger and Nathan Zeiger.

Local services for Mrs. Smith will be private.
