Dororthy Case

Brevard -



Dorothy McCrary Case, known to most as Dot, died in Peace at Tore's Home on August 14, 2012.



She was a life-long resident of Transylvania County, born in Little River to the late Virgil and Ida McCrary. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bud Case, who died in 1989; her sisters, Dola McCrary Shipman, Helen McCrary Duckworth, Lucille McCrary Lawler and Mary McCrary Wilson.



Dot worked with her husband for years at their business, Case Cabinet Shop. She lived a long, happy life, full of service to her church and various civic clubs. We celebrate her life and look forward to seeing her again in Glory.



She is survived by her son; Mark Stephen Case; her sister; Kathleen McCrary Moore, her brothers; Thomas William McCrary and Charles Virgil McCrary; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.



A Memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Brevard at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 with Rev. Tommy Crocker officiating.  The family will receive friends at Moore Funeral Home on Friday, August 17th, from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
