Douglas E. Gravley

Brevard - Douglas E. Gravley, 60, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, NC.
A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of Elizabeth Collins Gravley of Brevard and the late Clarence Eugene Gravley.
Mr. Gravley was a member of Glady Branch Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Viva Edney Gravley; son, Brian Douglas Gravley of Brevard; Shirley Stepp and husband Lewis of East Flat Rock, Susan Akin and husband Jeff of Brevard; sister-in-law, Norma King and husband Leroy of Hendersonville; several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Pisgah Gardens with the Rev. Lee Ray Greene officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731, or to Glady Branch Baptist Church, 1156 Rosman Hwy., Brevard, NC 28712.
