Earl Dewey McCall, 54, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. His is preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt McCall and Ora Chapman McCall and a brother Robert McCall.
He is survived by six brothers, Eugene McCall and his wife Edith of Old Toxaway, John McCall and his wife Arlene of Balsam Grove, Carl McCall and his wife Nina of Balsam Grove, Edward McCall of Balsam Grove, Rodney McCall and his wife Delane of Balsam Grove and Chris McCall of Asheville; and one sister, Helen Zaphras and her husband Bill of Winston/Salem.
The funeral service will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Woods Memorial Baptist Church in Balsam Grove with Rev. Devon Owen officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Cemetery.
