Earla Alice Fister Lovett

Brevard - Earla Alice Fister Lovett, 95, died on Friday, January 01, 2010 at Transylvania Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Lovett was a Transylvania County resident for over 30 years and a member of Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church.
She was a daughter of the late Alice and Alton Frantz Fister, Sr. and was preceded in death by three brothers: Alton, Thomas and Raymond Fister, and a sister, Annabel Quigney.

She was a registered nurse for over 40 years, a volunteer at TREND Mental Health and Transylvania County Library where she was Volunteer of the Year.

Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Howard E. Lovett, one son, Michael Lovett of San Diego, CA, a sister, Lauretta Ruch of Fogelsville, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dr. Keith Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall.
