Edwin "Buddy" Buckner

Pisgah Forest - Edwin "Buddy" Buckner, 58, passed away on August 22, 2012 at his residence.

He was a son of the late James Frank and Annie Rice Buckner.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers; Glenn and James Charles Buckner and a brother-in-law, Emmett K. Taylor.

Buddy was a member of Pisgah Forest Baptist Church and "special friends" Sunday school class. He dedicated over 25 years of his life to Transylvania Vocational Services.

He is survived by his sister; Winifred Taylor of Pisgah Forest and many special friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 27, 2012 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory with Rev. Tommy Owen officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Moore Funeral Home.
