Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Anne Taylor, 82, of Brevard, NC, passed away on Saturday June 7, 2014 at Memorial Mission Hospital in Ashville. A native of Indiana, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Evelyn Jaqua. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles C. Taylor.
An avid singer and music lover, she was a graduate of Smith College where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in music. Anne was a member of Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She had also been active in numerous choral groups and societies over the years. She was also a member of the D.A.R.

Anne Taylor is survived by her children, Chip Taylor and wife Jan of Audubon, PA, Stephen J. Taylor and wife Jackie of Austin, TX, Scott Taylor of Mebane, NC, David M. Taylor and wife Caroline of Chapel Hill, NC, and daughter Beth Canady and husband Larry of Brevard; six grandchildren Andrew and wife Sarah, Caitlyn, Michael and wife Laura, Blaine, Alexander and Shelby; and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Anne Taylor will be held at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church with Rev. Keith Thompson officiating.

In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Transylvania County Hospital Foundation, Susan B. Koman Breast Cancer Fund or the Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church.
