Elmer Galloway

Elmer Harrison Galloway, 95, of Rosman, NC, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at The Oaks of Brevard. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Lyman Culwell and Nancey Emmer Whitmire Galloway. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Emma Wave Galloway, his son Dennis Wayne Galloway, and his brothers and sisters Norman Rexter Galloway, Irene Galloway, Annie Mae Galloway, William Homer Galloway, Roxie Ada Thompson, Lyman Eugene Galloway, Clyde Washington Galloway, Christopher Columbus Galloway and Wiley Kenneth Galloway.
Mr. Galloway is survived by his children: sons Otis Galloway and wife Elizabeth of Brevard, Will Galloway and wife Cheri of Moore Haven, Florida and daughter Joyce Elizabeth McLean of Hendersonville; grandchildren Brian Keith Galloway and wife Carlene of Mills River, Robert Galloway and wife Cindy of Hendersonville, Heather Webb and husband Rodney of Marshall, NC., Whitney Hakala and husband Mark and Jordan Henderson and wife Julianna; great-grandchildren Cheoah Webb of Atlanta, Ivy Webb of Berea, KY., Reily Hernandez of Hendersonville, and Taylor Henderson of Hendersonville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Services for Elmer Galloway will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Galloway Section of Middlefork Cemetery in Rosman. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM., prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Meals on Wheels, c/o Mobile Wheels/WCCA, 181 Hillview Ext., Brevard, NC 28712.
