Brevard -Ethel Nations King, 88, died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at The Oaks, Brevard, NC. She was a daughter of the late Leonard and Lula Stewart Nations and was preceded in death be her husbands, Dwight Talley and Luther King, a daughter; Barbara Powell, three brothers; Buren, Johnny, and James Nations and a sister; Edith Harkins.
She is survived by her daughter Pat Surrette and friend, Jacky Houck of Brevard, three grandchildren Christine Surrette, Ted Surrette and Jenna Powell, two great grandchildren; Jessica and Justin Cooper and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Pisgah Gardens with Rev. Marcus Dodson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the TRH Hospice , P.O. Box 2440. Brevard, NC 28712.
