Eugene Peterman

Eugene A. “Pete” Peterman, 82, of Brevard, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019. A native of St. Louis, MO., he was the son of the late Edward Fred and Maude Louise Harris Peterman.

He retired after 24 years in the United States Navy where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander. The highlight of his career was serving in the Submarine Fleet. After his retirement, Pete taught at Bryant College in Rhode Island until they moved to Brevard in 1996.

His loving survivors include his wife of 58 years, Veronica “Ronnie” Peterman; their sons: Gene Peterman (Lisa), Ed Peterman and Rob Peterman (Stephanie); and six grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brevard with Father Shawn O'Neal officiating.
