Evelyn Elizabeth Liddle Coone

Brevard- Evelyn Elizabeth Liddle Coone, 93, died Tuesday, April 2, 2008 at Transylvania Community Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth Quick Liddle and was the wife of the late Lon A. Coone.

Evelyn was a member of the Brevard Davidson River Presbyterian Church. She worked for many years as a registered nurse at New York Hospital.

Surviving is her daughter, Charlene Williams and husband Robert of Woodstock, GA: son, Lon A Coone of Blue Springs, MO: sister, Helen Liddle of Auburn, NY: grandchildren, Amy Dhein and husband Robert of Hendersonville, NC and Albert Coone of Blue Springs, MO: great grandchildren, Ian Dhein and Madison Coone.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Davidson River Cemetery Extension.

The family will receive friends at Moore Funeral Home on Friday, April 4, 2008 from 6pm until 8pm.
