Faith Bayne

Faith Katherine Bayne, 87, of Brevard, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. A native of Middleton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Dent and Clara Addison Auvill. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James D. Bayne.
Her survivors include her sisters Audrey Siniard and husband Guys of Penrose, Mary Lou Cordano and husband Bob of Etowah; brother Carl Auvill and wife Myrt of Murphy, NC., her children: Cynthia Diana Johnson of Rock Hill, SC., Clara Denise Reid and husband Michael of Newberry, SC., James Nicholas Bayne and wife Karen of Brevard, and Philip Michael Bayne and wife Peggy of Brevard; grandchildren Zebulon Lee Reid of Newberry, SC., Hannah Katherine Bayne of Brevard, Dr. Eleanor Johnson of New York, NY., and Julia Irene Nicole Bayne of Brevard; and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Faith K. Bayne will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Brevard with Rev. Mary Shore officiating. The family will receive friends at a reception which will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Transylvania County Library at 212 S. Gaston St., Brevard, NC 28712 or to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd at 22 Fisher Road, Brevard, NC 28712.
