Faye Johnson Miller

Brevard - Faye Johnson Miller, 79, passed away on August 30th at home. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Riley and Rhoda Johnson, and the wife of the late Kay Miller. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marvita Miller; a brother, Edward Johnson; and two sisters, Lucy Hall and Mae Price.

Surviving are her daughter, Sharon Jenkins and husband Earl, of Brevard; grandson Austin Jenkins of Brevard; sister Lura Lee of Lake Toxaway, step-siblings Rilla Nicholson of Lake Toxaway, Linda Mills of Etowah, Hilda Johnson and Millie Stephens of Brevard, and Bobby Johnson of Asheville; and a number of especially dear nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 3rd in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Revs. Rick Lee and Don Waters officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Toxaway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
