Faye S. Simms

Pisgah Forest - Faye S. Simms, 85, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Transylvania Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was a daughter of the late Jethro and Tunia Burns Sentelle. She was a wonderful wife, precious mother, loving grandmother and a trusting friend. She will be missed by all who know her.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Simms "Jr.", three sons and their wives; Dennis and Diann Simms of Yuma, AZ, Wayne and Beth Simms of Pisgah Forest, NC, Bryan and Ann Simms of Lake Toxaway, NC., one daughter; Lynnette and her husband Tom Griffith of England, four grandchildren; Chad Simms, Jenny Simms Mikesell, Nathan Hall and Bo Simms; 8 step grandchildren, one sister; Eva Rogers, and three brothers; Frazier, Kline and Charles Sentelle.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, April 1, 2011 at Cedar Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Owen and Rev. Harland Ramsey officiating.
