Flora Stiebing

Flora Corrine Stiebing, 104, of Brevard, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Carolina Reserve in Laurel Park. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Edward A. and Dr. Lady Mary Johnson Morgan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Martin Stiebing.
She enjoyed her life and always saw the glass as half-full.
Her loving survivors include her children, Leroy "Butch" Stiebing and wife Susan of Brevard, and Patricia C. Darrow of Brevard; grandchildren Mike Smith and wife Carla, Susan Scofield and Jennifer Viol and husband Harry; 7 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Stiebing will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, in the chapel of Moore-Blanchard Funerals & Cremations with her grandson, Rev. Mike Smith, and Rev. Troy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory in Pisgah Forest. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., prior to the service.
