Frances Carney

Frances Marie Carney, 90, of Brevard, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015. A native of Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late August and Katherine McBride Herrmann. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Leo Thomas Carney; her son, Francis Jerome "Jerry" Carney; her sisters Kathryn Lynch, Clara Mulligan, Margaret Ashe and Anna May Gosney; and her brother August Herrmann.
Her survivors include her son Thomas Leo Carney and wife Catherine of Englewood, FL; daughter Joanne Sheuerman and husband Richard of Brevard; grandchildren Peter Joseph Scheuerman of West Asheville, NC., Lee Victor Scheuerman and wife Amy of Asheville, NC., and Stevi Marie Scheuerman of Brevard; great-grandchildren Colton Joseph Meany and Paul Thomas Scheuerman.
A Memorial Service for Frances Carney will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wenesday, July 1, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home in Brevard.
