Frances Collins

Frances H. Collins, 71, of Brevard, NC, passed away on Thursday June 5, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, working in her yard and her "Fur Babies": Boo, Lil Bear and BB.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Coot and Pearlie McCall Harris; brothers Porter and Archie Harris; and her loving husband of fifty years, James Bradley Collins who passed away on July 7, 2013.

She is survived by two daughters; Angela Lynn Collins of Brevard, NC, and Judy Collins Phillips and Ricky Brown of Lake Toxaway, NC; two grandchildren; Devin Phillips and his wife Amber and their two children, Lori Nicole Phillips and Jeffrey Dylan Scott Phillips of Brevard, NC and Dustin Phillips of Florida; two sisters, Dana Masters and husband Jerry and Mary Rethford and husband David. She has many nieces and nephews she loves dearly. Special friends are Margaret Long, Sue Gray, Micky Davis and Linda Vanderway.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Crossroads Baptist Church, with Reverend Terry Whiteside officiating. Burial will follow at Harris Family Cemetery in Jackson County. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, on Friday, June 6, 2014, at Crossroads Baptist Church.
