Frances Ormand

Frances Ferrell Ormand, 95, of Brevard passed away peacefully on July 20, 2015 at Brian Center of Brevard.

She was born in Asheville, NC to the late Donald W. Randolph and Exum Meares Randolph. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands James Frank Ferrell who died in 1978 and Rev. Benjamin F. Ormand who died in 2003, and two brothers Donald W. Randolph, Jr and Gaston Meares Randolph.
Frances was a member of Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church and had been the Administrative Assistant for Camp Illahee for 32 years.

She is survived by two daughters Eleanor Mercier, of Highlands Ranch, Co. and Betsy Vawser of Aurora, Co. and one son Randy Ferrell of Brevard, NC, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Davidson-River Presbyterian Church with Rev. Keith Thompson officiating. The family will have a private burial at a later date at Riverside Cemetery in Asheville, NC.
