Frances Hunter Passmore

Brevard - Frances Hunter Passmore, 76, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Transylvania Regional Hospital.

A native of Jackson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late J.H. and Louise Hawkins Hunter. She was a member of St. Timothy United Methodist Church and served on the Communion Committee.

Surviving are her husband, John Passmore of the home; brothers, Thomas W. Hunter of Cashiers, NC, and Walter Lee Hunter of Brevard; niece, Rebecca Kitchen; brothers-in-law, Arnold Passmore of Hendersonville, NC and Earl L. Passmore of Vero Beach, FL.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2009 at St. Timothy United Methodist Church with the Revs. Randolph Harry and Tommy Owen officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 pm Saturday at Moore Funeral Home.
