Fred Uebele

Fred Uebele of Brevard, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Born April 12, 1927 in Germany, he was the son of the late Johannes and Pauline Schuler Uebele.

He came to The United States in 1954 and became a United States citizen. He was employed at the IBM Research Facility in San Jose , California for over thirty-five years. He won several awards with IBM for his work as a mechanical engineer, and was very proud of his service. He retired to Brevard in 1991, and became active in several civic organizations. He was a member of Pisgah Forest Baptist Church, and the church choir. His Christian service and work within the church community are well known by the community at large. He was known as a gentleman, trusted friend, Christian servant.

A memorial service for Fred Uebele will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday June 10, 2018 at Pisgah Forest Baptist Church.
