Frederick Denninger

Frederick W. "Bob" Denninger, 82, of Brevard, formerly of Midland Park, New Jersey, passed away May 22, 2014 at Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard, NC. He was the son of the late Frederick W. and Emma Louise Gogo Denninger. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister Emma Lou Nichols.
Mr. Denninger was a U.S. Veteran, having served as a submariner while in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Denninger is survived by his wife, Eva Denninger; daughters Denise Schauble of New Jersey and Renee Schantz and husband John of Colorado; sons Jeffery Denninger of Massachusetts, and Steven Denninger of New Jersey; grandchildren Sara Califano and husband Pat of New Jersey, Angela Bounds and husband Christopher of New Jersey, Jesse and Emily Schantz of Colorado, and great-granddaughter Victoria Califano of New Jersey.
The funeral service for Bob Denninger will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Moore Funeral Home in Brevard with Rev. Mary Marinucci officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends at 10:00 A.M., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to theFriends of the Transylvania County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1425, Brevard, NC 28712.
