Frederik Veenhof

Fred Veenhof, 78, of Brevard, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he was the son of the late Henk and Sophia Veenhof. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Willem Veenhof.

He was wonderful husband, father and grandfather, who was consistently dependable, kind, honest and strong. He was a hardworking and brave man who would jump at the chance to help another out.  Always cheerful, a lover of coffee, biltong, diving, golf and a beer with friends.

We will forever cherish and miss the most epic of story tellers and adventure seekers, most affectionately known as Lamb, Father, Gupaw, Ernie and Frequently -Flying- Fred ( by his diving buddies) No matter the nickname he was loved by all.

Fred is survived by his wife Diane, and their children: Victor Veenhof and his wife Devilila, Jaci Daley and Gareth Daley, Amanda Malpas and Simon Malpas; and Grandchildren Brett Daley, Chelsea Walters and husband Tristan, and Merlin Heads, and Michael Heads.
