Freeda Norton

Freeda M. Norton, 61, died Monday, November 30, 2009 at the Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, NC.
A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Leamon and Falsom Hunter McCall.
She was a member of Cathey's Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Roderick L. Norton; daughter, Julie Dennis and husband Shane of Cedar Mtn. ; grandson, Garrett Dennis; sister, Elaine Stiwinter of Cashiers.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Cathey's Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Malcolm Lance officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
