Frenche Reid Kimzey



Brevard - Frenche Reid Kimzey, 94, died Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Transylvania Community Hospital.

A native of Mills River, she was a daughter of the late Robert Monteath and Meta Johnston Reid and wife of the late John Kenneth Kimzey.

Survivors include one son: William Reid Kimzey of Winston-Salem, NC, one daughter: Martha Kimzey Whitener and husband Don of Huntsville, AL., two grandsons: Kenneth Whitener and wife Beth and David Whitener and wife Angie all of Huntsville, AL., three great granddaughters: Erin, Emmy and Lillie Whitener.

The graveside service will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, April 28, 2008 at Mills River Presbyterian Church Cemetery with a memorial service following at 2:30 PM Monday at the Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church with Dr. Keith Thompson officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
