Genell Brown

Genell Brown, 81, of Pisgah Forest, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at Mission Hospital in Asheville. She was born April 5, 1932 in Polk County, NC to the late Jay Edward and Martha Jackson McGuinn. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Freeman Brown.

She is survived by two sons, T. Alan Brown and wife Susan of Pisgah Forest and Kenneth "Kenny" Brown of Kentucky; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Genell Brown will be held Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory in Pisgah Forest with Rev. Tommy Owen officiating.
