Glenna Jean Brown Batson

Lake Toxaway - Glenna Jean Brown Batson, 62, of Lake Toxaway, NC died July 31, 2012.

Jean was a daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Pressley Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Wayne "Bud" Batson.

She was an active member of Rosman Church of God and she was a graduate of Rosman High School. She was employed at Tucker Creek Products in Brevard for more than 20 years. She was an avid gardener, wonderful sister, and a very proud mother and grandmother.

Survivors include, one son; Nathan A. Batson and wife Rebecca of Asheville, NC, one daughter; Amanda B. Batson-Lamb and husband Norris D. Lamb III of Mount Holly, NC, one grandson; N. Denver Lamb IV, a sister Wanda Brown Foster and husband Wallace of Lake Toxaway, a nephew; Nick W. Foster of Spartanburg, SC, a niece; Terri F. Reece and husband Jeron "Jeff" of Bennettsville, SC and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, August 4, 2012 at Rosman Church of God with Rev. Michael Pressley and Rev. Dale Pressley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM August 3, 2012 at Moore Funeral Home.
