Guy Mull, Sr.

Guy Mull, Sr., 93, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Brian Center.

He was a son of the late Charles and Floy Berry Mull. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five sisters; Ernestine, Polly, Sadie, Mamie and Betty, and two brothers; Charles and Ted Mull.

Guy was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Rosman, NC. He was a veteran of the US Navy, US Army and Merchant Marines.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Elizabeth Sisk Mull, one son; Guy "Andy" Mull, Jr. and his wife Deanna of Quebec, NC, one daughter; Arlene Mull of Beaufort, SC, two sisters; Anna Lee Kinley of Mooresville, NC and Sarah Metcalf of Pisgah Forest, NC., two grandsons; Keary Mull and wife Wendy and Brent Welyczko, six great grandsons; Reno, Alec, Braden and Jordon Brent, and Austin Mull and one great granddaughter Ramey Mull and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May, 4, 2013 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Chappell and Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 3pm prior to the service. Military Rites will be conducted by the Honor Guard for Veterans of Transylvania County.
