Harold Bryson

Harold Junior Bryson, 87, of Brevard, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Kingsbridge House in Brevard. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Harry L. and Roxie Elizabeth Galloway Bryson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Janice Ruth Bryson; Brothers Ernest Bryson and Edward Bryson; and daughter Diane Bryson Gillespie.
He is survived by her sister Anita Bryson of Sapphire; son Wayne A. Bryson of Brevard; granddaughters Angie Gillespie of Pisgah Forest and Tina Worley or Brevard; 3 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Harold Bryson will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Cathey's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Owen and Rev. Bradley Chappell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
