Harold Smith

Harold C. Smith, 77, of Brevard, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. A Transylvania County native, he was the son of the late Edgar and Oma Queen Smith.

Harold loved gardening and growing his own vegetables and giving to people.He would also ask everyone he saw if they needed a load of wood. He loved selling firewood and meeting different people.

His greatest love was for his daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. As well as his red # 8 Dale Earnhardt Jr car. He was a very proud father and grandfather.

Rest in Peace Daddy. We know you were a believer and we will see you again in Heaven.

His loving survivors include his daughters: Vicky L. Smith (Allan), Donna S. Stroup (Greg) and Kimberly D. Eubanks (Jeff); grandchildren: David McCall, Courtney Owen (Chad), Ryan Stroup, Jenna McCall, Jordan Eubanks and Zach Stroup (Lexy); Great-grandchildren: Charlie McCall, Zoey Owen, Daniel McCall and Oliver Owen; brothers: Junior Smith and Jimmy Smith, sister Frances Owen and daughter-by-choice, Kaye Steen.
