Harold Lewis Taylor, Jr.

Penrose - Harold Lewis Taylor, Jr., 61 of Penrose, died Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Elizabeth House. He was a member of Crab Creek Baptist Church. He is the son of Ethel Moore Taylor of Hendersonville and the late Harold Lewis Taylor Sr. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dennis and Tilda Taylor and maternal grandparents, William and Martha Moore.

He retired from Ecusta in 1994 after 22 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Doris Merrill Taylor, a daughter; Paula Taylor of the home, a sister Patricia and husband Edward Gosnell of Hendersonville and three nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at Little River Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Tankersly officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall. Burial will follow at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Moore Funeral Home, 100 N. Country Club Road, Brevard, NC 28712 to help with the funeral expenses.
